informed of the charges, the right to call witnesses in his
defense, and the right to have an attorney
Amendment 7
Guarantees the right to trial by jury

Protects against excessive bail and cruel and unusal punishment
Amendment 9
This ensures that the individual rights that
are not stated in the Constitution
Amendment 10
limits the power of federal government by reserving for
the states all powers that are not explicitly granted to the federal government
by the Constitution, nor denied to the states.
